Bishop Michael Martin, OFM Conv., invites all the faithful to the Diocese of Charlotte’s annual Chrism Mass, being celebrated at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, at St. Mark Catholic Church, 14740 Stumptown Road, Huntersville. At this special Holy Week liturgy, the sacred oils used for sacraments will be blessed and the diocese’s priests will renew their priestly promises to the Church. Students, families and people entering the Church at Easter are especially welcome!

FISH FRY

 

The Knights of Columbus are hosting a Fish Fry at St. Andrew after Stations of the Cross on Friday, the 20^th. Plates will contain fried flounder, hushpuppies, slaw, and a drink. Please make a donation for the plate to support the Knights.

We need at least 2 more volunteers to count money at St. Andrew on Tuesday at 10. Counters will rotate, so you don’t have to count every week. Please see Kelly or Father if you can volunteer.

Reminder that all Eucharistic Ministers and adults who teach classes (even classes of adults) need to complete the Safe Haven safety program EVERY year. If you have not completed training or renewal in 2026, please call Kelly.

We are now seven weeks into the Diocesan Support Appeal campaign. We need each of you to help us reach our goals.

St. Andrew: as of March 10, we have raised $600 toward our $11,242 goal.

Sacred Heart: as of March 10, we have raised $1,800 toward our $8,147 goal.

We would like to meet our goals by August of this year.

SACRED HEART DIAPER GIVE-AWAY

At Sacred Heart on Palm Sunday (March 29) volunteers from Reconciliation House will be giving diapers and wipes to all families with children in diapers.

Diapers will be given after each Mass on Sunday 3/29 at Sacred Heart.

 

REGALO DE PAÑALES DEL SAGRADO CORAZÓN

En Sacred Heart, el Domingo de Ramos (29 de marzo), voluntarios de Reconciliation House entregarán pañales y toallitas a todas las familias con niños con pañales.

We did not receive the grant from the Community Foundation that we applied for in October, and we have been wait-listed for partnership with MANNA food bank.
