CELEBRATION FOR SISTER PEGGY

We would like to celebrate Sister Peggy’s service to our Parish (and her birthday) with a potluck dinner on Sunday, October 26^th, after the 1:30 Mass. Please plan to attend, bring a dish, and share your stories of Sister Peggy.

SMALL GROUPS

At a recent retreat, I learned that participation in small groups is one of the best ways to develop and sustain hope and engagement in a parish. We have two existing Bible study groups that are flourishing. Would you be interested in joining a small group book or Bible study group at St. Andrew or at Sacred Heart? I have some ideas, and I’m willing to lead, but I don’t know if you are interested. Please let me know what you would like.

En un retiro reciente, aprendí que la participación en grupos pequeños es una de las mejores maneras de desarrollar y mantener la esperanza y el compromiso en una parroquia. FAITH FORMATION

CHILDREN’S FAITH FORMATION AT ST. ANDREW

Meets every Sunday, right after Mass. Attendance at Mass is required. Parents are invited to join the classes.

 

CHILDREN’S FAITH FORMATION AT SACRED HEART

Meets every Sunday at 12:30. Attendance at Mass is required.

 

CONFIRMATION AT SACRED HEART

Meets Monthly; check the calendar in the Social Hall for dates. Attendance at Mass is required.

 

CONFIRMATION AT ST. ANDREW

Please meet in the narthex after the 9 am Mass on October 12.

 

ADULT FAITH FORMATION

REACh (Religious Education for Adult Christians) is facilitated by Joe Oliveti. One group meets in the Social Hall at Sacred Heart on Fridays at 10 am. Another group meets via Zoom on Wednesdays at 7 pm.

 

OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults) meets weekly on Monday evenings live at St. Andrew the Apostle at 6pm.

Jesus healed ten lepers in today's Gospel. Only one (10%) came back to say thank you. I, too, have received many blessings from the Lord - indeed all I am and all I have is gift! How and how often have I remembered to thank Him?
