PALM SUNDAY
The palm branches that we carry into the church in procession at the beginning of the Palm Sunday Mass symbolize Jesus’ triumphant entry into the holy city of Jerusalem. The ashes from the palm branches marked the beginning of our Lenten journey as we received a smudge from those ashes on our foreheads. With joy, humility, and trust, we enter into holy week as we commemorate the paschal mysteries of our faith.

DOMINGO DE RAMOS
Las ramas de palma que llevamos a la iglesia en procesión al comienzo de la misa del Domingo de Ramos simbolizan la entrada triunfal de Jesús en la ciudad santa de Jerusalén. At this special Holy Week liturgy, the sacred oils used for sacraments will be blessed and the diocese’s priests will renew their priestly promises to the Church. Students, families and people entering the Church at Easter are especially welcome!

SACRED HEART DIAPER GIVE-AWAY
At Sacred Heart on Palm Sunday (March 29) volunteers from Reconciliation House will be giving diapers and wipes to all families with children in diapers.
Diapers will be given after each Mass on Sunday 3/29 at Sacred Heart.
