PARKING AT ST ANDREW
It has been brought to the attention of the Parish Council that, on Sunday mornings, there is some difficulty with parking at St. Andrew the Apostle Church (a good problem!). Your Parish Council has asked the Knights of Columbus (KOC) to volunteer to assist in parishioner parking. These gentlemen will be wearing yellow vests and will direct you to the next available parking space.
Please follow their directions.

BISHOP MARTIN’S PASTORAL VISION
Last Sunday we watched a video of Bishop Michael Martin, OFM Conv, introducing his pastoral vision, “Everyone so loves Jesus, we share Him with others.” He described the three steps he encourages us to take in order to grow in unity with the Lord and with one another.
· Form Missionary Disciples ~ be more than believers, be disciples of Christ: “Let us invest our time and resources in becoming missionary disciples, people who draw close to Jesus, experience the fullness of life that comes from His healing grace, and want to share such fullness with everybody.”
· Become the Family of God ~ “Let us free ourselves of a vision rooted in scarcity in which we give only what is left over or what might return benefits to ourselves personally and realize that each person “has received a gift” and should “use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace” instead (1 Peter 4:10).”
· Go Out to Proclaim the Gospel ~ “Let us turn our communities into a place of support for those who bear witness to their faith in the world. Let us structure all our offices and ministries to enable missionary disciples to go out and be more present in all parts of our large diocese and among those in need.”

LA VISIÓN PASTORAL DEL OBISPO MARTIN
El domingo pasado vimos un vídeo del obispo Michael Martin, OFM Conv, presentando su visión pastoral: "Todos aman tanto a Jesús, lo compartimos con los demás." Describió los tres pasos que nos anima a dar para crecer en unidad con el Señor y entre nosotros.
· Formad Discípulos Misioneros ~ sed más que creyentes, sed discípulos de Cristo: "Invertamos nuestro tiempo y recursos en convertirnos en discípulos misioneros, personas que se acercan a Jesús, que experimenten la plenitud de la vida que proviene de Su gracia sanadora y que quieran compartir esa plenitud con todos."
· Conviértanse en la Familia de Dios ~ "Liberémonos de una visión basada en la escasez en la que solo damos lo que queda o lo que podría devolvernos beneficios personales, y comprendamos que cada persona "ha recibido un don" y debe "usarlo para servirse unos a otros como buenos administradores de la variada gracia de Dios" en su lugar (1 Pedro 4:10)."
· Sal a proclamar el Evangelio ~ "Convirtamos nuestras comunidades en un lugar de apoyo para quienes dan testimonio de su fe en el mundo. Organicemos todas nuestras oficinas y ministerios para que los discípulos misioneros salgan y estén más presentes en todas las partes de nuestra gran diócesis y entre quienes lo necesiten."
