FAITH FORMATION AT ST. ANDREW

Faith Formation classes for children are held immediately after Mass.

Confirmation class meets on Wednesday and/or Friday evening at 6 pm.

Adult Faith Formation: Wednesdays at 7 pm via Zoom.

OCIA class: Tuesday at 7 pm.

Women’s Study Group: Wednesday at 2 pm at St. Andrew

LEARN MORE ABOUT THE SHROUD OF TURIN

“Man in the Shroud,” a free, multimedia educational exhibit about the Shroud of Turin, the most studied relic in Christian history, will be on display Nov. 8-15 at Central United Methodist Church, 276 West 1 st St., Denton. The exhibit is designed to help visitors gain a better understanding of the Shroud’s history and its impact. Spanish-language materials will also available. RELICS OF ST. BERNADETTE TO TOUR THE DIOCESE

The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes is bringing the relics of St. Bernadette – the visionary who saw the Blessed Mother – to the Diocese of Charlotte this November.  

Three diocesan churches are stops along the way of the 2026-2027 United States Tour, bringing one of the most beloved saints of modern times to Catholic communities throughout America.  Planned stops include stops in all three regions of the diocese, from the Piedmont to the mountains and the Triad: Belmont Abbey, Belmont; St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Linville; St Pious X, Greensboro.

Each location will have its own schedule of events that will be available through the parishes and on www.catholicnewsherald.com. Events will include opportunities for veneration of the relics, Eucharistic celebrations, Marian devotions, catechetical presentations and prayers for the

sick.

RELIQUIAS DE SANTA BERNADETTE RECORRERÁN LA DIÓCESIS

El Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes traerá las reliquias de Santa Bernadette —la visionaria que vio a la Santísima Virgen— a la Diócesis de Charlotte este noviembre.

Tres iglesias diocesanas son paradas a lo largo del recorrido por Estados Unidos 2026-2027, trayendo a uno de los santos más queridos de los tiempos modernos a las comunidades católicas de todo Estados Unidos. Volunteer with Catholic Charities by using your truck or trailer to haul food from MANNA FoodBank in Mills River (by the airport) to the Western Region Office of Catholic Charities in Asheville.
